Rebecca has over a decade of experience providing mental health and substance use disorder treatment in various roles such as, group facilitator, behavioral health technician, and admissions counselor. Rebecca’s passion for helping others comes from her own recovery and healing. Having personal experience as a child living in a home where her parents fostered children, Rebecca has seen first-hand the long-term impact of early trauma, neglect and abuse. Her experience both personally and professionally has led to an approach of openness, honesty and presence with those suffering so that they may find comfort in knowing that someone is willing to listen without judgement and believe in their capacity to find meaning and purpose in their life. Rebecca enjoys a personal practice of yoga, meditation and exercise that she is bringing into her current pursuit of a degree in Health & Exercise Sciences with a concentration in experiential learning for supporting clients with mental health issues.
