Liz’s passion for supporting teenagers stems from her personal journey of finding hope and healing. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work, where she also received a Graduate Certification in Addiction. With a diverse background in behavioral healthcare, mental health advocacy, and academic research, Liz brings a wealth of experience to her role at Family First. She has received comprehensive training in various holistic healing approaches, including the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) for addressing attachment, relational, and developmental trauma. Liz is also a fully certified practitioner of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and has extensive experience in helping individuals overcome addiction and disordered eating. Driven by her passion for helping teens navigate challenging circumstances, Liz is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to her clients. Through her expertise in various holistic healing modalities and her commitment to ongoing professional development, Liz strives to empower teens to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential. Her ultimate goal is to foster a safe and supportive environment where individuals can heal, grow, and thrive.
