Lauren earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from Florida Atlantic University and her Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University. In addition to her experience as a psychotherapist, Lauren spent several years as a Certified High School Teacher in the state of Florida. Having experience in both realms informs Lauren’s unique perspective into the lives and struggles of facing our teen clients inside and outside the classroom. Lauren also feels strongly about her work in humanitarian aid, being awarded. Volunteer of the Year at United for Families, an organization specifically geared toward providing under-privileged families case management support and resources. While working with teens, Lauren believes in supporting them to function with a greater sense of autonomy, authenticity, and purpose. Having had specialized training in working with trauma, autism spectrum disorders, and substance use, Lauren has a wide-range of skills to meet my clients where they are work with compassion and sincerity.
