Kevin’s passion for working with teen boys was born out of his own personal experience of adversity in childhood, having lived in the foster care system, being adopted, and struggling to find his way prior to receiving the proper help and support. Kevin went on to serve in the United States Air Force as a Military Police Officer, where he learned how to effectively de-escalate and communicate in high pressure situations. Kevin earned his first degree from Los Angeles Harbor College and is currently working on his second degree in Criminal Justice from Keiser University.

Kevin has multiple years of experience in the behavioral health field. Before moving to Florida several years ago, Kevin worked with at-risk youth as a Residential Supervisor at Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch. Kevin has specialized training in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) and is completing his final requirements toward certification as an addiction counselor through the Florida Certification Board.

Kevin is known for his calm demeanor, and ability to bond with our clients by listening to them without judgement, talking about sports, music, his experience in the military, and his journey from struggling as a teen to being a successful professional, husband, and father.
