Dr. Ashley Chatigny is a board-certified psychiatrist within MindCare’s national clinical team, bringing extensive experience in acute behavioral health, emergency psychiatry, and complex mood and trauma-related disorders. She provides compassionate, developmentally informed psychiatric care to adolescents and young adults in both residential and community-based settings. With specialized fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Tripler Army Medical Center, Dr. Chatigny has a deep understanding of the clinical, emotional, and developmental needs of youth, particularly those struggling with trauma histories, mood instability, self-harm, substance use, and treatmentresistant conditions. Her clinical interests include emergency stabilization, treatment-resistant depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, trauma-related disorders, and co-occurring substance use challenges.
Dr. Chatigny is known for her calm, grounding presence in crisis, her collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams, and her commitment to ensuring each adolescent feels safe, heard, and supported during treatment. She works closely with therapists, nursing staff, residential teams, and families to build cohesive care plans that promote stabilization, resilience, and long-term recovery. Dr. Chatigny earned her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her psychiatry internship, residency, and child/adolescent fellowship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu. She is board-certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality mental health care for youth and families.
