Neurodiversity describes everyone. It’s the full range of how people think and process information. Within this range are two broad groups of people: neurodivergent, including people with autism and ADHD, and neurotypical, who align more closely with common ways of thinking and functioning.
The Nest is a space where neurodivergent teens feel understood, supported, and empowered. No matter what your son needs, our team will work closely with you and him to figure out the best way to help him succeed. We’ve created a program that respects their differences with accommodations and supportive strategies like:
ASD Clinical Specialists with over 200 annual hours of clinical supervision and training.
Calm-down spaces, fidget toys, and flexible seating.
Including “break cards” to allow space when needed.
To encourage healthy digital habits.
Peer buddies and extra time to process and respond.
Visual schedules and picture-coded step-by-step instructions.
The Nest provides a safe, supportive, and developmentally attuned environment for neurodivergent adolescents. We empower teens to embrace their unique strengths, develop essential life skills, and build meaningful connections through evidence-based treatment, experiential learning, and family involvement.
We want to help neurodivergent teens become more independent. The Nest Program teaches them better ways to understand themselves and the world around them. Our specialists support emotional growth and executive functioning—helping teens be more independent with confidence and clarity.
Teens in the Nest learn how to plan better, get organized, problem-solve, and be more flexible thinkers. They’ll get chances to practice what they’ve learned with other teens in the program, giving them valuable opportunities to build social skills, too.
Neurodivergent conditions make it hard to regulate emotions. We teach teens how to identify what they feel, understand what’s behind their behaviors, and how to regulate them using skills like mindfulness and relational support.
Your teen can be more independent in the future, and our clinicians can help. We’ll teach them how to express their needs appropriately, take ownership over routines, and build the confidence they need for age-appropriate independence.
The ways that neurodivergent people interact with the world and take in the information around them—sights, smells, words, problems, tactile feelings—give them unique strengths. But they can also pose challenges since so much of the world was designed with mostly neurotypical people in mind.

The price you pay for your teen’s treatment may vary. Your insurance coverage, what kind of services are right for your teen, and how long they’ll need support will determine how much it costs.
The Nest Program is a residential program held at our Palm Beach Gardens, FL, location. Our safe, secure campus features homelike accommodations where teens can feel comfortable and connected during treatment.
The Nest Program is for boys 12–18 with a neurodevelopmental condition. We specialize in treating teens with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and learning challenges.
Your teen gets 24/7 support when they’re attending the Nest Program. Daily treatment schedules run from about 8 a.m. to about 3 p.m., with breaks for meals and activities. Your teen will do more than just sit in a classroom. They’ll work with specialists in the South Florida sunshine around our campus and in small groups led by our team around the community.
Treatment for many of our clients lasts 6–12 weeks. We may recommend additional support for some teens. Every family, regardless of how long teens stay in treatment, will get at least one year of aftercare support from our team.
