Brian earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business with a minor in Italian from College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, and is currently pursuing his Master of Social Work Degree from Florida Atlantic University as well as his Certified Addiction Counselor designation through the Florida Certification Board. Brian has experience at multiple levels of treatment, providing group therapy, facilitating discharge planning, treatment planning, case management, etc. Along with his extensive experience working in the mental health and addiction treatment field, Brian has received specialized training in complex trauma through the NARM Training Institute and is working toward his designation as a NARM-Informed Professional®. Brian’s passion and dedication for working with teens and families comes from his personal as well as professional experience of the impact that mental health & substance use disorders have on individuals and families. Brian believes that building trust and connection with adolescents and families, supporting each member to be involved in the process of healing is the most rewarding part of his role at Family First.
