Experiential

Clients in our day program engage in a stimulating and active daily routine that fosters alignment of physical, mental, and emotional wellness.

The Day Program at Family First

The partial hospitalization program (PHP) at Family First can be thought of as a structured summer camp. Teens engage in evidence-based experiential therapies that keep them engaged. From instructor-led paddleboarding and cognitive-behavioral therapy to expressive art and group sessions, teens explore their mental health to find a healthier way forward. The PHP is our first treatment program open to male and female adolescents, allowing our experienced clinicians to provide support for even more teens.

Empowering Adolescents for a Brighter Future

Modalities

An adolescent partial hospitalization program should do more than just address the behavioral health concern. It must also take into account an individual’s medical needs, living situation, and any co-occurring substance use issues that may be accompanying their mental health issues.

Effective teen treatment requires innovative integration of multiple treatment modalities to fit the individual needs of clients. These differing perspectives, in the context of a unifying philosophical orientation, constitute an approach to healing that honors both individuality and best practices.
